Cancellation Policy
Catch Your Tree — An initiative by Catch Foundation
This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which a donation made through the official Catch Your Tree website may be cancelled: https://catchyourtree.com.
Please read this policy carefully before making a contribution.
1. Nature of Contribution
All payments made through the Catch Your Tree website are treated as voluntary donations toward tree plantation, environmental restoration, and long-term maintenance. Upon successful payment, resources are immediately committed toward plantation, logistics, and maintenance activities.
2. No Cancellation After Successful Payment
Once a payment has been successfully processed and confirmed:
- The donation cannot be cancelled.
- The adoption cannot be reversed, transferred, or exchanged.
- The amount cannot be modified or refunded.
Because a tree is allocated and resources are committed immediately upon confirmation, all donations are considered final.
3. Cancellation Before Payment Confirmation
You may choose not to proceed with a donation at any time before the payment is confirmed by simply not completing the transaction. No charge applies to incomplete or abandoned transactions.
4. Failed or Duplicate Transactions
In case of:
- Failed payment transactions
- Amount debited but donation not confirmed
- Duplicate payment due to gateway or bank issues
Such transactions are not treated as cancellations. Any applicable refund will be processed automatically by your bank or payment gateway as per their internal policies. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
Cancellation requests will not be entertained for reasons including but not limited to:
- Change of mind after a successful donation
- Incorrect selection of donation amount
- Personal financial reconsideration
- Delay in receiving a certificate within reasonable processing time
We request donors to carefully review all details before confirming payment.
