Catch Your Tree — An initiative by Catch Foundation
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing donations made through the official Catch Your Tree website: https://catchyourtree.com.
By making a contribution on the platform, you agree to the terms stated below.
1. Nature of Payment
All payments made on the Catch Your Tree platform are treated as voluntary donations toward tree plantation, environmental restoration, and long-term maintenance activities.
Upon successful payment:
- A tree is adopted under the donor's name.
- Plantation records are updated in the system.
- A digital certificate of adoption is issued.
- Plantation location details are shared with the donor.
- Funds are allocated toward plantation, logistics, monitoring, and maintenance.
Payments are not purchases of goods or services but contributions toward environmental impact.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments may be made using the methods enabled on the website, which may include:
- Debit Cards
- Credit Cards
- Net Banking
- UPI
- Digital Wallets
- Other payment gateway options available at checkout
All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Catch Foundation does not store sensitive financial information such as card details or banking credentials.
3. Payment Confirmation
A payment is considered successful only when:
- The transaction is authorized by the bank/payment gateway.
- The amount is credited to the Catch Foundation account.
- A confirmation message or receipt is generated.
Donors will receive confirmation via email or on-screen acknowledgment after successful payment.
If confirmation is not received, donors are advised to verify their bank statement before initiating a second payment.
4. Transaction Charges & Taxes
- Any applicable transaction charges imposed by the payment gateway or bank shall be borne by the donor.
- The donation amount displayed on the website is the amount allocated for the initiative unless stated otherwise.
- Applicable tax benefits (if any) will be governed by prevailing laws and official eligibility criteria.
5. Failed or Incomplete Transactions
In case of:
- Payment failure
- Amount debited but no confirmation received
- Duplicate payment
- Technical interruption during transaction
The following applies:
- The donor should wait 5–7 working days for automatic reconciliation by the bank/payment gateway.
- Refunds for failed transactions are handled by the respective bank or payment service provider.
- If the issue remains unresolved, donors may contact us with transaction details.
Catch Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions or payment gateway providers.
6. Currency & Jurisdiction
- All payments are processed in the currency displayed on the website.
- International payments, if enabled, may be subject to currency conversion rates and international transaction charges as per the donor's bank.
- All transactions are governed by applicable laws of India.
7. No Cancellation After Successful Payment
Once a payment has been successfully processed and confirmed:
- The donation cannot be cancelled.
- The amount cannot be modified.
- The adoption cannot be reversed.
